Taste of home away from home. Cooked fresh when we ordered, nothing held hot. Really lovely lady served us (val I presume!) Nothing was too much trouble. Made us feel very welcome. My partner was recovering from a tummy bug so wanted just fish, peas and a bottle of water to drink where as I went all out and had the full Monty. Our dog was welcome in the covered outside area which is a massive bonus for us.
Biggest surprise of the meal was the lovely pint of local larger. Very well kept cellars to have it cling to the glass like that. We will be back.
went here by chance with bit of family. nice place, good fish and food overall. does more than just fish and chips. Simple deserts but the fish, chips, curry sauce etc was very nice and a friendly attendant
best fish and chips in town - enjoy every mouthfull ive had from there
