Finally it was the perfect "pizza day" and the locals talked about da Marco. It's located at the end of Calle Real, which is the big shopping/restaurant street in Estepona. No cars just pedestrians and close to the beach.
At 8 pm da Marco is empty at 10 pm it's packed.
From the menu you choose size of pizza and the topping you want on it. Simple and very smart.
The pizzas are really delicious. Thin and with the (in my opinion) right balance of cheese.
Fast and with prices you like.
Very good pizzas.
We had walked past here many times & it is always busy. Hungry for pizza, so decided to give it a try. I prefer THIN crust pizza, so this appealed to me. Service was swift. Two sizes of pizza re offered. Normal, which in the US would be a personal pizza. Super would be like a US normal pizza. We ordered a super with the 4 ingredients, which was fine for two of us who are not big eaters. We were surprised how quickly or came out of the oven and to our table! I was happy they didn't drown it in Parmesan. Everything was tasty. Together with a wine and small beer, it cost 20€. If you like thin crust, this if for you. If you prefer thick crust, this is not for you. We liked it and would return again.
We were staying at the Kempinski hotel near Espepona Spain and didn't feel like getting dressed up for a fancy dinner. A quick cab ride to the city center in Estepona and we decided to give de Marco pizza a try. Located near the fountain in the square. The pizza was great, a large pizza 3 beers and soda for 18 euro. Would def. recommend.
