Listen Up Foodies If you are ever in Málaga, you MUST visit Oléo It offers one of the best modern Japanese gastronomy that we've ever experienced Foie gras, truffles, sashimi, and everything in between. Service was on point, which we haven't seen in quite a while! A light, casual, and cool ambiance, Oléo is fitting for anytime of the day.

Toro Roll (Crab, Avocado, Fatty Tuna, Foie Gras): we LOVED the foie addition to the fatty tuna taste. A truly comforting bite.
Tuna Tartare w/ Truffle & Egg: *off-the-menu* MUST ORDER‼This is the best tartare dish we've had. Every single ingredient blended together so perfectly, each of clear significance and its own essence.
Butterfish, Caviar Salt, Truffle: buttery, fresh, and fatty. We loved it.
Vietnamese Goat Roll: really like that they included the different herbs to roll with the lettuce. Millefeuille Pastry: this is their best dessert choice. The top is caramelized, mixing perfectly with the cream.
Passion Fruit Mousse & Yogurt Ice Cream: tastes exactly how you would think. The mousse is light and fruity. The ice cream reminds us a lot of Yakult (probiotic milk drink) which is amazing!
Really impressive Asian fusion in an unassuming location, a museum. We tried several dishes and everything was delicious. It tasted more home style but everything was something you'd find in an upscale restaurant. Fish was super fresh, service was good, and do not miss the dessert! Highly recommend trying a bit of everything. Our favorite in Malaga!
This was the best sushi I have ever had in my life. Hands down. No exaggeration. We got there 10 minutes before the kitchen closed and they still happily and excellently served us a full meal, dessert, wine, and even offered coffee well after closing. Will be returning once more before we leave Málaga. Bravo.
THE BEST SUSHI IVE HAD IN MY LIFE! And I have had a lot of sushi. Traveling from Los Angeles to Malaga, we had to have our sushi fix. Upon searching near and far we landed upon Óleo and it was exemplary. The service was top notch as was the food. From delicious hot sake in the nicest ceramic shot glasses, to their sashimi and sushi rolls, we were absolutely blown away. This is a must for sushi stops if you're in Málaga.
The best meal in Malaga! The service was fantastic from start to finish, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was cool! They were playing some great hits. We had seats at the bar which were perfect for seeing the chefs put together some great dishes and also got some great insider recommendations from the chefs behind the bar. We had the mackerel ceviche which was so amazingly delicious! Pieces of fish with a little caviar and some ranch dressing on top of a lime. You eat the fish and bite the lime at the same time and get the most delicious bite. We had two of them! The sushi was fresh and we had salmon, tuna belly, and a lemon fish dish with truffles (my husband had two of those!). For dessert the chef recommended the cheesecake, normally I don't like cheesecake and strawberries but we got this and I was pleasantly surprised. It had savory notes from blue cheese and marscapone and was light, perfect end to a great meal.
If you are in Malaga, you need to try this restaurant! The food was amazing in general, but the fish really stood out. It was fresh, prepared well, and delicious. We ordered one of their special that night (some sort of fresh fish with a lemon and avocado sauce) along with the 12 piece sushi combo, a salmon gunkan, and a lamb roll starter and really enjoyed everything.
The service was very attentive, and the waiters all made an effort to explain the dishes to us in English. I did end up having to translate a bit for my friend, but it was not a big deal. They were very patient with us when we took forever to order (too many delicious options) and provided great recommendations when asked.
We sat outside, so I can't speak to the decor inside. The outdoors area is enclosed by a fence and a roof, which is great considering that the restaurant is situated next to a museum and a busy street. It was clean and lovely. I've already marked this as a must-visit for when I return to the area.
Lugar moderno, contemporáneo y de calidad. El ceviche, las papas bravas y el sushi en general estuvieron espectaculares. El servicio super atento y muy agradable, si quieres pasar un buen rato gastronómico prepara la cartera, pero super recomendable si quieres acudir a un sitio diferente que no sea taberna. Si reservas mejor porque suele estar concurrido de gente, se puede llegar cómodo tanto andando/bus/metro. Disfruten.
He tenido el privilegio de haber sido invitada a comer por mi hijo Arturo y no podía haber elegido mejor el sitio. El restaurante es muy bonito y tiene una ubicación increíble, junto al museo de arte Contemporáneo. Hemos sido muy bien atendidos por el maravilloso equipo de Sergio y de Rui , que son encantadores. Y cada plato que llegaba era aún mejor que el anterior. Los rollitos de chivo tenéis que probarlos, están espectaculares 😍 las patatas bravas son las mas ricas del mundo 🤤y jamás volveré a decir que no me gusta el Sushi, pues hoy he descubierto que el que hace Rui me encanta😋 Espero volver. Muchísimas gracias de corazón por todo 🙏😘
Magnifico restaurante en Málaga centro, con terraza cubierta. La comida muy buena con una combinación de sabores espectacular, lo mejor las patatas bravas y el brioche. El servicio muy atento en todo momento. Esta era la segunda vez que íbamos y repetiremos una tercera.
Óleo lleva siendo desde hace muchos años mi restaurante favorito. Cada vez que voy disfruto muchísimo. En mi familia, de hecho, es el sitio preferido para compartir momentos. Mi madre fue a la inauguración hace ya 12 años. Enhorabuena y gracias Sergio y Junior.
La oferta de comida fusión mediterránea y sushi es lo que da tanto juego a la hora de pedir.

Patatas bravas con espuma picante (fueron los pioneros en hacer esta salsa que tan conocida es ahora), Rollitos crujientes de langostino maceradla en soja, Ceviche de Jurel sobre lima, Tartar de atún picante, Steak Tartar Sobre Hueso, Uramaki Toro Roll con Foie, Nigiri de Anguila, Nigiri de Pez mantequilla y Nigiri de Ventresca de atún y Foie al PX

Para mi, de los mejores sitios de sushi de Málaga. La calidad del producto es top y el servicio muy atento. Toro roll, tartar de atún y niguiri de pez mantequilla imprescindibles. Por poner un “pero”, diría que cuando hay poca gente traen todos los platos algo atropellados. 100% recomendable
Espectacular!!! El mejor restaurante de comida asiática que he visitado hasta el momento. Servicio impecable, amables y muy simpáticos y encima rápidos. No se puede pedir más.
La comida es un auténtico espectáculo desde que te sientas. Conforme van llegando platos la duda va en aumento para elegir cuál de ellos te ha gustado más. Cabe destacar los maki con PX. Una locura de plato.
No puedes ir a Málaga y no visitar esta meca de la comida asiática.
Situado en un sitio emblemático de Málaga, te encuentras este restaurante con una muy buena y excelente combinación gastronómica para degustar unas buenas piezas de sushi que se funden en cada bocado

Uno de mis lugares favoritos para disfrutar de Sushi y comida Mediterránea. Tienen una carta muy variada y la elaboración y trato del producto es excepcional! Tienen gran variedad de tapas. Destacar las papas bravas, el serranito, la burger, el sushi y los postres.

Nos recomendaron este sitio hace mucho tiempo y pudimos ir hace poco a cenar.
Pedimos varios platos para 2 personas y la camarera nos recomendó cambiar algunos y pedir las patatas bravas, esto último fue un acierto ya que fue lo que más nos gustó de la cena.
La ensaladilla rusa nos pareció buena pero bastante normal, nada destacable.
El humus de edamame me pareció que apenas tenía sabor a nada, sin embargo a mi pareja le gustó bastante (sobre todo por los garbanzos crujientes que vienen encima).
El tartar de atún y el solomillo estaban riquísimos y a buen precio (21€ los dos), el de atún picaba para mi gusto un pelín más de lo que soporto, para los que no les guste mucho el picante.
En cuanto al sushi, pedimos 3 tipos:
Tuna roll, Salmon lima y Shake roll. No sabría decir cuál es cuál en las fotos pero el que más nos gustó fue el que lleva salsa teriyaki.
Se equivocaron al ponernos el sushi y lo solucionaron rápidamente, sin embargo, no especifican en la carta que el Shake roll lleva trufa (que mi pareja no puede comer) y nos sobraron 5 piezas de sushi.
La experiencia global ha sido buena, pero teniendo en cuenta el precio de la cena (104€ para dos personas) y que lo más destacable han sido unas patatas bravas, no repetiremos.
Cuando no sólo comes sino que vives una experiencia....ya no se puede pedir más....o sí: volver. La oreja de cochinillo, sublime. Gracias.
