Dropped by here with a friend. We ordered a special on the menu that included 2 drinks, two kebabs with chicken, and a large pizza mozarella. The kebabs were both very good, i ordered mine spicy and it was about the size of a burrito. Enough to fill you up. The pizza was the best pizza ive had in europe thus far, and far better than anything in spain.
The service was great, the place was just ok but cmon, it isnt a five star spot. Price, service and food definitely was 5 star worthy
This place is very reasonable and the food is good. We didn't try the Indian food, but everything on the menu looked really good & if it's anything like the pizza you won't be sorry you tried it. We had a lot of watered down sangrias during our travels in Spain and Pizza Virona did not continue that trend. The sangria was strong and tasty.
Let's face, for a restaurant with a lot of different types of food on the menu, the food is not bad. Service is good. Even when they're closing they will still help you. Lots of scooters next to their curb for their employees who constantly go back-and-forth delivering meals is an indication that the locals must love this place. I assume that is because prices are decent and the food is good. Big drawback is the check doesn't always match the prices on the menu and there are always explanation by the waiter as to why this is the case. I find that to be creative accounting. Just like a big business. Anyway, great place to grab some food, especially late at night when you can sit out on the street and smoke a cigar while eating.
