We were unable to get a table at Restaurante Ástor, so the hostess told us about Metro Bistro, which has a similar menu. Upon leaving Astor, we made a reservation for two nights later. Considering cancelling our reservation and going back to Metro Bistro. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was even better! Make sure to ask for Florin as your server. He was incredible! Not knowing exactly what we were ordering, we entrusted in Florin to help us pick our selections. I would not have changed a single item. A couple of musts are the Cecina del Bierzo as an appetizer, and the Gigot de cordero as a main dish (one of the best dishes I've ever eaten!). Their house Altos Rioja wine was also amazing! Thank you again to Florin, the chef, and the rest of the staff for such a memorable experience. We will be back!
Fantastic food and great wine. Wonderful menu and without a doubt the best meal we’ve had during our visit.
We just finished the most amazing meal. We enjoyed a 7 course tasting menu prepared exquisitely by chef Matias Smith and served perfectly by our waiter Florin. If in Madrid eat here for a culinary delight.
