This cafe in the Anton Martin market is actually one of those hidden gems where you can experience the life of non tourist Madrid. It is run during the week by the wonderful (English speaking) Coralia, who demonstrates the charm and efficiency that certainly is hard to find now in the UK.Whether for breakfast: wonderful coffee, (and brandy) traditional tomato toast, scrambled egg etc etc. or lunch, a delicious traditional dish of the day for€7.95. you will enjoy the food of Madridlianos at very reasonable prices. Just across the road from Anton Martin metro.
