This place is a gem.
I strolled into this restaurant in Tarragona one day for lunch, but apparently I was too early. It didn't look closed, so I just waltzed in asking for a table, but apparently I was 30 minutes too early. After apologizing, I told them I was going to be back.
30 minutes later, I was standing by the entrance when the lady came out and pulled me in. I took the set menus, which is a great way of discovering what is available without breaking the bank. I opted for the carpaccio as well as the sausage. It also included dessert: I chose the St. James tart. It was a simple meal, but definitely very authentic. I was probably the only tourist during lunch, every one seemed to be from town.
I don't think I would be back any time soon in Tarragona but if I were, I would check this place again if they're open for lunch.
Magnífico restaurante. Platos de muy buena calidad. Buen precio, tirando a alto. Lugar agradable e íntimo. Imprescindible si visitas Tarragona.
Hemos comido fenomenal, comida casera buenisima, la dueña es un encanto y nos ha tratado muy bien. Sin duda lo recomiendo
